As part of the West Gate reconstruction project, the F-101B Voodoo was removed from its pedestal on 28 Dec 06 and put in temporary storage. Future plans for the West Gate include displaying the Voodoo in another format, perhaps on a cradle near the new roadway.

Above photos is a testament on how fast a snow storm can move into the area. The top row of photos were taken at 1000 HRS. The rest of the photos were taken between 1130 HRS and 1430 HRS. The bottom row of photos were taken ten days later on 07 Jan 07. Kudos to the World Wide Recovery crew and the others involved in the takedown operation.
