Eagle’s Wings Roundtable

 

 

Purpose

 

The Eagle’s Wings Roundtable is a group of individuals, organizations and businesses that wish to enrich and support the Peterson Air and Space Museum and its programs.

 

Members in the Eagle’s Wings Roundtable make a notable difference in the Peterson Air and Space Museum ability to provide a historical interactive display of Peterson Field and its legacy in Colorado Springs.  Contributions to this 501(c)3 Foundation are an investment in the future as well as a salute to the past. 

 

Qualifications for Membership

 

Any individual, business, or organization automatically qualifies as a member of the Eagle’s Wings Roundtable by making a contribution of $1,000 or more to the Foundation.  Contributions are cumulative and with each year of giving the level of recognition with be adjusted to reflect current and past contributions.  Contributions may be restricted, i.e. restoration of a particular aircraft or building or unrestricted, i.e. exhibits, dioramas and asset acquisition.

 

How Gifts May Be Made

 

Qualifying gifts may be made by an outright contribution of $1,000 or more – or a signed pledge to make contributions over a five-year period.  Commitments can be paid annually or on a quarterly basis, whichever is more convenient.

Additionally:

Ř      A contributor and spouse whose combined contribution falls within the qualifying range (i.e., $1,000 or more) will jointly be eligible for membership in the Eagle’s Wings Roundtable

 

Ř      An individual may be recognized as an Eagle’s Wings Roundtable member through a qualifying gift made in his or her honor by another

 

Ř      A deceased person may be named a member “in memory” by receipt of a qualifying gift from one or more contributors.

 

Special Contribution Categories

 

Contributors to the Eagle’s Wings Roundtable in amounts significantly greater than the $1,000 will be recognized, as follows, for their very special support:

 

                        $  50,000 and above                   Eagle’s Wings

                        $  25,000 – 49,999                     P-47 Thunderbolt

                        $  10,000 – 24,999                     Spirit of Saint Louis

                        $   5,000 – 9,999                        P-38 Lightning

                        $   1,000 – 4,999                        Kitty Hawk

 

Member Recognition

 

Each Eagle’s Wings Roundtable member shall:

 

v      Receive a letter of appreciation from the Chairman of the Peterson Air and Space Museum Foundation

 

v      Receive an attractive memento suitable for display

 

v      Have name listed in all Peterson Air and Space Museum event programs

 

v      A 25-word description listed on our website (or a link to your web page)

 

v      Contributions of $5,000 or will have a permanent plaque recognizing the on the flag pole base outside the museum main entrance.
