The CF-101B S/N101044 (former USAF S/N 57-0381) shown above was retired from the 409 AW(F) Squadron, Comox, British Columbia and flown to Peterson AFB CO on 09 July 84 by pilot Captain Drew Foulds and navigator Major Ron Egli. Beginning in 1961, four Royal Canadian Air Force Squadrons obtained 56 F-101Bs and 10 F-101Fs. In 1971, these aircraft were traded in for 66 more advanced F-101s which had better radar and infra-red detection equipment. In 1984, these CF-101Bs were replaced by the McDonnell Douglas CF-18. Mar 1960 - To 60th Fighter Interceptor Squadron (ADC), Otis AFB MA

(deployment to Tyndall AFB FL)

Oct 1968 - To Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center, Davis-

Monthan AFB AZ

Sep 1970 - To AF Logistics Command, Winnipeg, Canada

Dec 1970 - Dropped from USAF inventory by transfer to MAP
