I am Lloyd Konneker. Attached is a photo of your B-57E sn 54279 from
1960 in Japan. You are welcome to add it to your archives.
My father, Lt. Col. (ret) Peter Konneker was a B-57 pilot with the
6091st Recon Squadron, 3rd Bomb Wing at Yokota AFB. This picture was
taken then, although the exact location is not written on the photo. He
probably flew the very plane you have on display. He says his mission
in this plane was air defense training, training the fighter
interceptors by trying to penetrate their airspace.
